Meijer AAA is pleased to announce that Mark Beaufait will return to coach the 2002 Team for the spring 2016 and fall 2016-17 season. This team will be a National Bound team and based in Grand Rapids.2016-17 Coaching Announcement:

Bio.
Mark grew up playing hockey in Detroit and received a scholarship to play at Northern Michigan University where he won a National Championship in 1991. He was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in 1991. Mark was on the USA Olympic team in 1994. He played in over 1000 games professionally.
Mark won a Turner Cup in 2001 with the Orlando Solar Bears. Mark lead his team for five years in scoring and had 5 All Star selections. He played in Berlin from 2002-2009 where he was an Asst. Captain for 3 seasons. His team, Berlin Eisbaren won 4 DEL Championships. Marks #19 Jersey was the first number retired by Berlin.
After his playing career, Mark moved to Grand Rapids with his family and has coached at many levels. Most recently Little Caesars West Pee Wee AAA.
