The Meijer AAA Hockey Club, proud members of the NAPHL, are pleased to announce that 18U forward Andrew Walker has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL’s Central Division.

Walker, 18, is in his second season playing for the Meijer AAA 18U team and an assistant captain this year. The native of Mason, Michigan, currently ranks 3rd in team scoring this season with 17 points in 14 games played, which includes 8 goals and 9 assists.

Walker’s (5’9/150) best event and stretch of games of the season thus far came during the last NAPHL event in December, where he had nine points in four games.

Walker played in 24 regular season games last year for the Meijer 18U team, recording nine points. He also played in six playoff games, recording four points.

Walker played in the 2016 NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament in Edina, MN, where he had an assist in four games for Team North.

“We are very happy for Andrew, who has come up playing through the system.  He is a leader on and off the ice and has a great future ahead of him,” said Meijer 18U head coach Brian Sherry.
Andrew is the Meijer 18U AAA Clubs 4th tender this season.
