PIKU PUTS ON A SHOW: Branden Piku of Meijer AAA impressed many with his third-period tying tally against the Minnesota Blizzard, but it was his game-winner in overtime that dazzled hockey fans everywhere. With the puck on his stick behind the net, Piku scooped it onto his blade before depositing it into the top right corner of the net in one motion, lacrosse-style. The famed “Michigan Move” garnered plenty of media attention online and lifted Meijer to a well-deserved victory. Oh yeah... I was also the #2 play in ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10!
