New 16U Coach Hired!

Bob Mainhardt joins our Meijer Hockey family bringing with him more than 20 years of amateur hockey experience and leadership.  Bob has served as a Head Coach, General Manager and Commissioner and some of the highest levels with some of the top organizations in the United States. Serving as the original Head Coach and G.M. of the Youngstown Phantoms, Bob was the integral architect of the programs rise to the USHL.  Prior to his years in Youngstown, Bob was the bench boss for Team Ohio AAA, Gilmour Academy, Cleveland Barons AAA, and the Cleveland Barons NAHL programs. Mainhardt has also served as the Commissioner of the EJHL, laying the foundation for the leagues’ creation of the USPHL and the NCDC and it’s rise to Tier II Jr. Hockey.  The last 6 years Bob has served as the Head Coach of HoneyBaked 18U.  Bob Comes to Meijer AAA 16U with a strong reputation for player development and promotion.
