Ware Signs NAHL tender with Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings

Kyle Ware is the first of the Hounds, in the 2011 – 2012 season, to sign a tender in the North American Hockey League. Recently in Chicago, Kyle opened eyes to many NAHL Scouts, and was picked up by the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings. Kyle is a 6’-3” 215 lb. defenseman. Kyle brings a physical play to games and also adding offensive production. Kyle is from Three Rivers, MI and has grown up playing hockey in the Kalamazoo area. Kyle is the first player from West Michigan who is working his way up the ranks within the Kalamazoo system. Kyle played his beginning hockey years in KOHA, moving up to the Hounds AAA, then on to the Jr. K-Wings. “Kyle has worked very hard to get to this point in his career. Kyle has become a top notch defenseman, and has the ability to change a game at any time.” Says U-18 Coach Rex Trott. Kyle is leading the U-18 Hounds with 9 points in 12 games of NAPHL play.
