Joey Lupo provided St. Louis Selects 18U with the game-winning tally when he scored 12:33 into the the first period. St. Louis Selects 18U had taken the advantage when West Michigan Hounds 18U's Carter Reid got sent off for tripping. Parker Stevens assisted on the tally.

St. Louis Selects 18U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 18 penalty minutes.
