Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as West Michigan Hounds 18U defeated Lansing Capitals 18U in a shootout 2-1.The shootout featured nine attempts between both teams. Lansing Capitals 18U's shootout goal was scored by Camren Jorgensen. In addition to the clincher, West Michigan Hounds 18U got a shootout goal from Brandon Wolfe.
