Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as West Michigan Hounds 16U defeated Detroit Falcons 16U in a shootout 3-2.The two teams needed 10 turns to complete the shootout. Detroit Falcons 16U got a shootout goal from Michael Phillips. In addition to the clincher, West Michigan Hounds 16U got a shootout goal from Collin Schieman.
