On the ice the U18 Lansing Capitals are one of our fiercest rivals and a team we love to compete against. Off the ice we are all part of the hockey family and when one of us is hurting, we all hurt.We where deeply saddened when we learned recently that Coach Dean Dixon had what was originally diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Prayers where answered and they where able to remove his tumor in two operations and now it's on to chemotherapy and physical therapy.
They are having a skate-a-thon Aug 15th in East Lansing from 5:30pm to 6:20pm to raise money for his medical expenses - details can be found
